Gina Salas has been President and Broker of Federal Home Loans since 1993, and has been with the company for over 30 years. She obtained her real estate license in 1986, and her broker's license in 1993. Gina also holds a juris doctorate degree. Gina has endured the volitale changes in the real estate market during her 50 years and has seen the market flourish yet managed to navigate through those challenging times during the downturn of the real estate market. Through the years, Gina has managed to provide both the borrower and the lender the financial support to advance their financial goals. We look forward to welcoming you on our TEAM.

Chris brings over 25 years of experience in financial services including insurance, executive leadership roles in banking, commercial credit, mortgages, and credit placement. Chris earned his B.S. Business Administration Accounting degree from the University of Phoenix and was the commencement speaker at his graduation.
At Federal Home Loans Corporation, Chris follows his passion to help others using his extensive financing experience and accounting degree to develop creative credit solutions for challenging lending needs and find the right match for both lenders and borrowers.

Lee Gabriel
Accounting Department | US Navy Veteran
Lee joined Federal Home Loans in 2006 after earning his B.S. Business Administration- Accounting from San Diego State University. Lee is an integral driver of maintaining financial, operational, and audit integrity by accurate and timely reporting, record keeping, reconciliation, and cash flow management. He brings the same commitment and dedication he demonstrated as a member of United States Navy to serve our borrowers and investors. Lee's passion for helping others extends outside the workplace as evidenced by his status as a Grand Knight of St. Michael's and City Heights Community Service Award.
Fernanda Mercado
Fernada Mercado oversees loan servicing, including emailing and mailing Balloon Monitor payment schedules, tracking delinquencies or defaults, and maintaining complete, compliant records of transactions and borrower communications. She proactively communicates with borrowers—sending reminders, addressing status updates, and resolving inquiries or disputes promptly—while ensuring adherence to legal standards and internal policies. She also collaborates with internal teams to improve servicing operations and customer experience, and serves as a Notary. With her attention to detail, Fernanda is a great asset to our Team of professionals.
